Tax Reporting Associate - 9 Month Contract

The Associate will be doing client tax reporting and will be required to attend multiple meetings, take away information, get involved, and follow and articulate process flows. This role is strictly client tax reporting, statements, production, etc. You will participate in meetings, so you must be comfortable speaking in a variety of group sizes. Ultimately you will become a Subject Matter Expert about the tax reporting process.

About the Opportunity

• Classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals and ledgers or computers
• Calculate, prepare, and issue bills, invoices, account statements, and other financial statements according to established procedures
• Debit, credit and total accounts on computer spreadsheets and databases, using specialized accounting software
• Check figures, postings and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes
• Perform other duties as assigned

About You

• Degree in finance, accounting or a related discipline
• 5 or more years of related experience in finance or accounting
• Previous experience in brokerage operations is an asset
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Previous experience in banking or a financial institution
• Advanced Excel skills
• Previous experience with Visio or Nimbus is an asset

Pay Range
$21-$22/hour
