Supervisor of Project Accounting – 6 Month Contract

Our client is looking for a Supervisor of Project Accounting/Costing to assist them during a transition period.  

About the Opportunity  

• Supervise all activities of the Costing team, focusing on the timely and accurate completion of monthly, quarterly and annual project accounting activities 
• Ensure accounting for capital assets is in accordance with IFRS
• Review and approve all costing journal entries and ensure accounting policies are followed, including revenue recognition and deferral, capitalization and derecognition of costs
• Maintenance of related internal controls
• Work with cross-functional areas   
• Manage and supervise staff

About You

• Designation preferred 
• 5+ years related experience, including supervision of staff
• Experience in developing and recommending corporate procedures
• Experience with large ERP systems

Salary Range

$45/hour
