Settlements Officer - 6 Month Contract

About the Opportunity

• Swift wire/settlement accounting input and review
• Swift wire/settlement accounting discrepancies resolution through liaising with Middle Office, Front Office and counterparty
• Escalate and follow up on settlement breaks
• Track regulatory requirements as it relates to settlement execution
• Ensure processes meet all market and industry standards and ensure strict compliance with organization policies and procedures

About You

• 1 to 2 years’ experience in derivative settlement/accounting and/or operations
• Working knowledge of derivative products and operations processes
• Knowledge of ISDA documentation and industry standards/regulation and equity derivatives (swaps, options, and equity link notes)
• Experience of Capital Markets (on the investment side), coming from a large FI/Bank
• Knowledge of product system applications (i.e. Calypso, Endur, Imagine and Mircosoft Office applications) an asset
• Excellent verbal and written communication and analytical skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high volume environment with tight deadlines
• Strong customer service skills
• College/university degree in related field

Pay Range
$18-$20/hour
