ServiceNow Developer

Our client located Down Town Toronto is currently seeking multiple ServiceNow Developers to join their team. This is an urgent need as the client is current going through a major project work load and requires full time permanent and contract developers. About the Opportunity

  • Manage the design, development and testing of the ServiceNow environment
  • Managing, workflows, custom scripts, catalog requests, catalog items, business rules, UI pages, UI actions, UI policies
  • Configuring Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Designing and developing new reports, dashboards and performance analytics widgets and support business in its usage
  • Providing Technical Support of the existing ServiceNow environments, applications and modules
  • Participating in sprint planning and requirements elicitation sessions with client stakeholders
  • Supporting existing and developing new SN Portals when needed (CSS, CMS, HTML knowledge is expected) Maintaining web services, orchestration and software integrations within in-house and with 3rd party applications
  • Managing emails and similar integration technology with ServiceNow
  • Managing ACL and the overall security of the platform
  • Loading, transforming and maintaining data within/between ServiceNow and other systems while focusing on architectural solutions
  • Fixing software defects and performance problems discovered in testing
  • Performing unit testing, code reviews, development best practices and implement ServiceNow related best practices
  • Timely respond to system outages
  • Be an SME regarding support and technical mentoring to internal and external stakeholders while mentoring staff on technical processes and procedures
  • Following good security coding practices to ensure the application is free of most common coding vulnerabilities
  • Participating in the full software development life cycle: Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing and promotion into Production when introducing changes to SN
  • Work directly with stakeholders on requirement refinements and solution architecture.
  • Considering technical dependencies and integration points to ensure proper solution integration with other systems when applicable
