Service Desk Analyst – 6 Month Contract

Our client located Downtown Toronto is currently hiring a Service Desk Analyst on a 6-month contract with strong potential for extension or full-time.

About the Opportunity

  • Respond to incoming requests to the Service Desk via telephone, e-mail, web and in person requests to ensure effective resolution
  • Ensure that all issues and resolutions are documented and tracked accordingly for asset management and support purposes including the users name, department, contact information and nature of issue
  • Manage escalations of incidents to the appropriately experienced Analyst
  • Participate in the after-hours on-call process
  • Deployment and configuration support for office hardware and software including laptops, PCs, printers, mobility devices (iPhones, iPads, Android)
  • Perform preventative maintenance, including checking and maintenance of workstations, printers, and peripherals
  • Install anti-virus software and ensure virus software versions are up-to-date
  • Ensure that the FAQ and Knowledge Base is kept up-to-date and current

About you

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in computer science or computer-related studies 
  • 2-4 years of work experience supporting Microsoft products, including Windows 7/10, Active Directory and Exchange (password issues and account creation/changes), MS Office Suite, Mobile Device Support, Ticketing System Experience, SCCM, Imagining and Deployment
  • Basic Networking and Citrix experience is a strong nice to have 
  • Microsoft certifications including MCP, MCSE, A+, etc. will take precedence
  • Experience working in a fast paced, ever evolving and changing environment with the ability to adapt and shift gears quickly
  • You must be a collaborative team player who loves working in a strong team environment while providing White Glove Customer Service
  • You must be willing to work in a rotation working environment starting at 8am and running 4 shifts each hour up to noon and supporting locally in Toronto as well as the US and West Coast of Canada
