Senior Regulatory Analyst – 15 Month Contract

About the Opportunity  

• Draft and defend electricity distribution rate applications
• Maintain current knowledge of all application filing requirements
• Interpret filing requirements, write evidence and populate financials in support regulatory filings
• Review, process and provide interpretation and implications of staff papers and decisions from the governing body
• Develop financial models and prepare financial analysis in support of regulatory strategy and filings
• Contribute to customer satisfaction by providing excellent communication and customer service regarding pricing, billing, operations and regulatory issues both internally and externally and to assist corporate communications as required
• Perform other duties as assigned

About You

• Accounting designation
• Minimum 3-5 years of financial reporting experience 
• Strong analytical skills with extensive experience working with complex spreadsheets
• Regulated environment experience is nice to have
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
• Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of IFRS and GAAP

Pay Range
$40-$45/hour
