Senior PHP Developer – 6 Month Contract

About the Opportunity

• Participate in a team-oriented environment to develop complex web-based applications
• Maintain existing codebase to include troubleshooting bugs and add new features

About you

• B.Sc/B.Eng in Computer Science or related field
• Building RESTful APIs
• LAMP stack on CentOS
• PHP Unit Testing, Testing using Postman (or some equivalent)
• Understanding of Composer Package ManagerContinue
• State-less, token-based authentication
• Solid Skills in OO Design and Programming Logics
• Understanding distributed architecture
• Experience in Concurrent Programming
• Extensive Knowledge in LAMP STACK
• Extensive Knowledge in Zend Framework
• Large Enterprise Project Experience
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Front-End Knowledge (JavaScript/HTML/CSS)
• Knowledge of Version Control (GitHub)
• Knowledge of Other Programming Language (eg. Python, Java)
• Knowledge of HTTP protocol based APIs
• GitHub examples of work
• Experience in PHP-FIG coding standards
• Cloud computing experience (AWS, GCS, etc.)
• Understanding of Design Patterns (Factory, singleton, strategy, etc.)
• Basic supervision/training skills
• Passionate and self-motivated
• Strong analytical skills
• Fast learner
