Senior Manager, Finance

Our client is sourcing for a Senior Manager, Finance for a 3 month contract with potential to extend or convert to permanent.

About the Opportunity  

• Overseeing and executing month-end GL close and internal control processes
• Preparing analyses and developing processes for the team to record and monitor complex accounting transactions (e.g. deferred revenue on franchisee incentive programs)
• Working on several important projects that provide exposure to key executives in the Company and opportunities to work collaboratively with teams within Global Business Services (GBS) and outside of GBS (e.g. Tax, Development, Legal, and Supply Chain). Projects include but are not limited to process improvement initiatives, SAP projects, activity on-boarding and expansion, and automation through artificial intelligence
• Being a key point of contact for external and internal auditors, including coordinating work to be carried out by the auditors (e.g. SOX, Tax, and Accounting)
• Reviewing key monthly deliverables to be provided to the Global Accounting and SEC Reporting teams (e.g. CAPEX reporting, cash flow analysis)
• Providing training and coaching to a large number of direct reports

About You

• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), preferably with Big 4 accounting firm experience
• Controller experience is preferred
• SAP knowledge
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Ability to learn processes and procedures quickly
• Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to successfully establish relationships
• Ability to work well in a dynamic environment
• Great attention to detail and the ability to prepare high quality work
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Self-starter and able to work proactively and independently

Pay Range  
$50/hour
