Senior IT Security Analyst (OWASP, SDLC)

This IT Security Analyst position is a high-touch role requiring excellent communication skills while working in a dynamic environment! The Analyst will work with many cross-functional internal and external teams to move things forward. This role will mostly deal with the application development area of the business (not Hardware/Infrastructure security).

About the Opportunity

• Evaluate and provide analysis on IT Security gaps as they relate to application development
• Perform testing and analysis of IT security gaps (OWASP, etc.)
• Document compliance findings and risks, as well as recommendations for remediation
• Consult internal and external stakeholders regarding IT Compliance, Software Engineering, and Security requirements
• Conduct, document and report on IT Risk audits and assessments
• Work with internal and external parties on remediation of found gaps
• Keep abreast of latest security trends and techniques on data security and secure application development 

About You

• BS/MS degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or a technology related field is strongly preferred
• 7+ years of experience in Information Technology and IT Security fields
• 5+ years of working in Application security (application development)
• Proven experience in managing remediation of IT compliance gaps, involving multi-tiered applications, databases, etc. 
• Strong understanding of data security and access
• Strong experience with security assessments as they relate to Application Development (.NET, Java, etc.) 
• Knowledge in infrastructure security, operations security, information technology and tools is preferred
• Experience with OWASP, code scanning tools, etc.
• Amazing project management and organizational skills
• Strong technical, analytic, and communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Extreme attention to detail and nuance, with a working familiarity with compliance practices and tools
• Information Security certifications preferred - CISA, CISSP, CIA, etc.

Pay Range
$105,000-$115,000/year
