Senior IT Security Analyst

About the Opportunity

In this role, you will provide complex technical expertise in the planning, design, implementation and optimization of enterprise web, application and network security. You will also provide recommendations for the development of strategy and direction for network systems and solutions. As part of your responsibilities you will lead projects as the technical network and security expert, including the development of technical requirements, evaluation of software and hardware solutions, and liaising with vendors. You will also develop and oversee the resolution of network issues, and establish, monitor and evaluate compliance with security protocols.

  • Design, maintain and support information security systems and networks and daily operations. Technologies include Windows, Linux, MS SQL, Oracle, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), content filtering, web platforms, SaaS platforms, cloud platforms, SSL/PKI, antivirus/anti-malware, etc.
  • Performs risk assessments of new and existing technologies, web and application security testing, vulnerability management, configuration baseline creation and compliance monitoring. Provide metrics and reporting to technical and business teams
  • Consult with security, infrastructure and business teams to create configurations, standards, and procedures that support industry, regulatory, and client requirements and best practices for the enterprise. Review security and business practices in light of the enterprise risk posture
  • Responsible for designing, evaluating, advising and implementing industry emerging security technologies that support the business
  • Work with infrastructure and business to troubleshoot operational issues as required in support of projects, Information Security activities and Infrastructure Operations
  • Leverage security infrastructure tools to improve the enterprise security posture and extend visibility and controls across the enterprise. Monitor tools and platforms for IOCs and escalates as appropriate
  • Provide planning and execution of projects, coordinating with business, infrastructure, and project management; develop and execute project plans
  • Provide IT Security subject matter expertise to the enterprise

About You

  • 7+ years of experience in IT Security and Infrastructure roles
  • Proven experience in handling IT security incidents
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning and security tools, web and application security testing, data encryption standards and methods
  • Strong knowledge of IP communication and routing (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP) is mandatory
  • Strong knowledge of network and security control protocols of the OSI/TCP/IP model, and various security protocols
  • Microsoft Windows, Unix/Linux, network architecture planning, and support experience are a plus
  • Excellent working knowledge of industry standards and technology (COBIT, ITIL, ISO27000, PCI-DSS)
  • Systems security design and architecture planning and support
  • Experience with PKI and SSL certificate infrastructure and management
  • Must have industry certification (CISSP, CISM, CASP, ITIL)
  • Familiarity with regulatory and industry security requirements and Cloud Computing Controls
  • Ability to work with technical and non-technical audiences while addressing complex topics
  • Strong analytical, documentation and communication skills

Pay Range
$90,000-$100,000/year
