Senior Financial Consultant – 12 Month Contract

Our client is looking for a financial consultant to assist during a transition period.  

About the Opportunity  

  • Assist in maintenance of the general ledger, including review of account balances, reconciliations preparation and review, and monthly review and elimination of intercompany transactions
  • Support the monthly close and consolidation process, including upload of subsidiary financial information, foreign currency translation, annual budget uploads, and year-end roll
  • Manage and successfully execute the quarterly close reporting processes, including the ongoing requirements of the external auditors, ensuring that all working papers and related support are provided on a timely basis
  • Manage all follow up requests from external auditors for additional information and coordinate all interim testing in preparation for annual audits
  • Completion of assigned notes to the financial statements, and supporting documentation
  • Perform specific functional accounting and reporting duties
  • Provide analysis and input to the monthly close process, managing review of various large dollar entries, provision balances, legal claims and environmental continuity
  • Follow-up to ensure that guidance on the application of US generally accepted accounting (USGAAP) has been followed

About You

  • Accounting designation
  • Experience with US GAAP
  • Experience in consolidated financial reporting in a large corporation. 

Salary Range

$45/hour
