LOOKING FOR A DESIGNATED PROFESSIONAL WITH ERP SYSTEMS EXPERIENCE. Our client is in need of a Senior Financial Analyst for a 1 year resource. 

Senior Financial Analyst – 1 Year Contract

Reporting directly to the Manager, Corporate Accounting, this individual will support the Corporate Finance team with month-end close and project related tasks. The individual will also provide support in respect to queries from functional groups relating to their cost centres and budgeting.

About the Opportunity  

• Assist with monthly and quarterly Financial Reporting and Consolidations (within a multi-currency environment)
• Assist with the elimination entries and multiple currencies as part of the consolidation process
• Assist with ad-hoc budgeting and analysis as required
• Responsible for certain monthly Finance activities currently carried out by the Director, Finance, Manager, Corporate Accounting (Americas) and Manager, Global Reporting & Analysis in order to allow these three individuals time to focus on special projects during the duration of approximately 12 months
• Assist with the 2018 annual audit – co-ordination of workflow and required documentation for the auditors – working closely with the internal Finance team to co-ordinate requirements
• Assist with on-going and Ad-Hoc projects undertaken by the Toronto Finance Team, in particular the on-going ERP and Global Reconciliation projects

About You

• University degree, preferably in Accounting, as well as a CPA designation
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in an accounting and finance related role, specifically within financial reporting and corporate consolidations (within a multi-currency environment)
• Experience working with SAP and Microsoft Excel
• Thorough understanding of accounting principles and extensive knowledge of fundamental accounting systems
• Ability to solve challenging and complex problems and determine innovative solutions
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong team player, able to adapt to different people and situations

Pay Range
$80,000/year
