About the Opportunity  

• Preparation of financial reporting package and disclosures in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Complete month-end closing responsibilities, analysis, understand and identify trends, and ad hoc requests
• Compile, analyze and report on company’s corporate and key business platforms including operating metrics. Requires ability to cut through complexity to deliver a clear message
• Ad-hoc analysis and presentations, financial and operating results along with analysis, while balancing and prioritizing projects with short and long-term deadlines
• Provide insight to identify issues, trends and provide actionable recommendations
• Demonstrate agility and adaptability to varying ad hoc requests and analyses, which balancing and prioritizing projects with short and long term deadlines
• Special projects as required
• Provide leadership and support in development of finance initiatives, drive efficiencies and continuous improvement of financial reporting to allow more time spent on in-depth analyses

About You

• Bachelor's degree in commerce/finance
• CPA, CA designation
• Senior Staff Accountant at a larger firm
• U.S. GAAP is an asset

Salary Range
$75,000-$80,000/year
