Our client, a major property developer, is looking to hire their next Senior Financial Analyst. Our client is looking for an energetic, hands on finance professional who would leverage their strong technical financial reporting and analysis background while working in a progressive environment that offers continuous learning, a succession plan and a competitive compensation package.

We are looking for candidates from the Big Four firms who have an assurance background working with clients from Real Estate (commercial or residential), REITs and Mining. Also, we are considering very analytical CMAs or CGAs working in technical reporting roles.

About the Opportunity  

• Perform full financial analysis for essentially 40 operating units. 
• Analyze transactions to ensure they are reported properly and classed accordingly
• Analyze revenues, expenses, and develop commentary on the financial variances
• Advise on technical accounting requirements related to joint venture reporting and equity investment reporting. 
• Advise on technical accounting requirements related to debt instruments and fund advances
• Advise on monthly and quarterly consolidated equity reporting requirements and joint venture financial statement reporting compliance
• Evaluate transactions for compliance to policy and procedures
• Perform complex reconciliations and advise on technical reporting requirements to Senior Leadership Team
• Collaborate regularly with external auditors
• Conduct ad hoc projects and collaborate regularly with SLT 

About You

• CPA, CA from big four or CMA, CGA with at least 3-to-5 years reporting and analysis experience
• Nice to have experience working in complex engagements for clients in mining, REITs, real estate development

Salary Range
$75,000-$85,000/year
