About the Company

Our client, located in the West End of Toronto, is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst. 

Their goal is to bring someone onto their team who is able to be promoted within 1–2 years to a Manager. Within the company, you will feel like a part of a team, as this is a strong part of the organizational culture.

About the Opportunity  

• Help with month end close process by completing financial statement close and by completing supporting schedules for both Corporate and internal reporting purposes 
• Preparation of journal entries and accruals in order for complete and accurate accounting records
• Calculate commission/bonus payments for all variable compensation plans and fielding questions from sales force regarding hospital sales 
• Complete and provide financial analysis on actual versus budget and previous year
• Participate in budget preparations and analysis
• Document controls around management reporting, planning and forecasting 
• Assist with the preparation and completion of corporate tax returns and other compliance returns, as required
• Supporting payroll function with preparation and submission of weekly/semi-monthly payroll data to corporate for processing
• Liaise with business partners in operations

About You

• University Degree in Finance or Accounting and must have a CPA designation (CA, CMA, CGA) 
• 3-4 years of relevant financial experience 
• Advanced Excel skills (vlookup, pivot tables)
• Previous exposure to JDE, Cognos, and Hyperion is considered an asset 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 

Salary Range
$60,000 - $70,000/year
