Our client, a large publicly traded global asset company, is hiring a Senior Accountant. They have been in operation for over a century, and have gained clients in North and South America, Australia and Europe. About the Opportunity  

The responsibilities for this position would include, among other things:

• Review quarterly Fund financial statements and reports
• Review of Fund and investment performance metrics and funding notices
• Thorough understanding of the legal structure of the Fund
• Prepare responses to requests for information from investors
• Compliance monitoring to ensure that the funds are operating in accordance with partnership and debt agreements, as well as external authorities
• Deliver information related to taxation, including legal entity financial statements, and internal and external audit requests
• Oversight of third-party fund administrators
• Generate ad-hoc analysis and presentations
• Special projects as required

About You

• Bachelor's degree in commerce/finance
• CPA, CA designation
• 3-4 years of progressive Big 4 public accounting firm experience
• Strong technical IFRS and GAAP experience
• Must have a strong technical background working with publicly traded companies

Salary Range
$75,000 - $85,000/year
