LEADING FINANCIAL SERVICES COMPANY LOOKING FOR GP SYSTEMS ANALYST. Our client has an exciting opportunity for an IT professional with Dynamics GP experience to take their company to the next level.
Senior Dynamics GP Systems Analyst
The GP Systems Analyst will be a member of the Corporate IT Department responsible for support, configuration and maintenance of the Dynamics GP software. The Systems Analyst will focus supporting a global end user population by ensuring the Dynamics GP software is optimally configured, deployed and utilized, and is generating value-added reporting and analytics.
About the Opportunity
- Optimize and maintain master record data (Account, Customer, Vendor, Job, etc.)
- Optimize and maintain the security Tasks and Roles
- Support all end user functions and processes across all standard product modules
- Manage a helpdesk queue of user-reported issues, including root cause analysis and with a focus on recommending improvements that will minimize break-fix issues
- Guide initiatives to increase overall system adoption and functional utilization across all business units
- Increase ROI through process analysis and design, data extraction and reporting, and deeper functional deployments in each business unit
- Liaise with the support vendor on problems and customizations
- Test customizations, hotfixes and upgrades, including design of UAT test cases
- Train, coach, and directly assist Dynamics GP users
- Design and preparation of process documentation artifacts
- Recommend SQL optimization initiatives
- Manage the support of multiple Dynamics GP instances
- Analyze data to create reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Leverage a solid understanding of the SQL table structure and data flows in Dynamics GP during report design and development
- Utilize best practices for report design and version control
About You
- Proven ability to support users across all modules of Dynamics GP Version 12 and higher
- Ability to design, develop and deploy SSRS reports
- Experience with SQL Server
- Demonstrated success with leading the creation of business process and improvement initiatives
- Sound knowledge of business analysis methodologies with the ability to identify/define gaps, risks and requirements and produce supporting documentation
Pay Range
$65,000-$75,000/year
