Senior Auditor

About the Company

Our client is one of the largest banks. They are looking for a Senior Auditor to join one of the Audit groups at their downtown office.

About the Opportunity  

• Conduct audit work based on established audit plans and execute the audit
• Develop/contribute to the audit planning process for individual audits by developing, updating and executing related audit programs
• Prepare and present audit results, concerns and recommendations to audit management and client management as appropriate
• Maintain awareness of emerging issues, regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts at a business level
• Develop a good understanding of current business activities and related risk and contribute to the audit risk assessment and approach accordingly

About You

• Operational audit experience, preferably in areas of financial institution regulatory compliance
• Minimum of three years of relevant experience in internal or external auditing (financial services industry preferred)
• Professional designation would be considered an asset (CIA, CISA, CPA, CA, CGA, CMA)
• Strong Risk and/or Compliance background would be considered an asset

Salary Range
$75,000-$85,000/year
