DO YOU LOVE WORKING WITH APPLICATIONS? Our downtown client is looking to hire a Senior Application Analyst to own the application environment of 300+ applications! This role will support these applications throughout their lifecycles - selection, configuration, deployment, support, maintenance, etc.

About the Opportunity

• Act as a senior application analyst – select/configure/deploy all applications that users gets in contact with - computer OS, mobile phone or tablet OS, server OS and applications - Exchange, AD, SharePoint; common user applications – Office365, SharePoint, CRM/ERP applications, document management systems, etc.
• Work on compatibility of applications/OS/hardware/vendors
• Manage and deploy production images via SCCM for approximately 1400 people
• Deploy patches, client upgrades, OS upgrades, applications packaging and deployment
• Automation via scripting to push to clients
• Device management (MDM) solutions and policies
• Understanding of principles behind bring your own device
• Thin client and browser management
• Develop policies for deploying assets to partners with a security-driven mindset
• Client back-up technologies
• Manage licensing and licensing reports
• Asset management

About You

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science or related field
• Strong knowledge of SCCM, Direct Access, Active Directory
• Experience with Windows OS - desktop/laptop/server
• Strong experience in client-side support
• Excellent knowledge of Application Lifecycle - selection, configuration, packaging and deployment, support, migrations, upgrades of Enterprise Applications from OS and up
• Experience with application deployment in varieties of mediums - desktop, virtual, remote, thin client, mobile, etc.
• Expert knowledge of MS Office 2010+, SharePoint, Exchange, AD
• Exposure to scripting - PowerShell, VBA, etc.
• Ability to rapidly learn new client-side technologies
• Superior communication skills and a team-oriented, collaborative orientation

Pay Range
$75,000 – $80,000 /year
