SENIOR ANALYST, INTERNAL CONTROLS NEEDED WITH GREAT ATTENTION TO DETAIL & GREAT INSTINCTS. A leading client company in the Financial Services industry is searching for a Senior Analyst, Internal Controls looking to take their career to the next level.
Senior Analyst, Internal Controls
About the Opportunity
- Responsible for identifying, documenting risks and controls related to various Pension business processes
- Assist with the development of a sustainable methodology for monitoring and assessing process risks
- Demonstrate excellence and apply critical thinking to assess risk and provide insights to support managements’ decision making
- Analyze processes and complex data with a focus on identifying and assessing risks that impact strategic and operational objectives
- Recommend internal control and process improvements and assist in the design and implementation of new internal controls
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify and document business process risks, corresponding control procedures and resolve control gaps
- Assist in the development and implementation of management reporting for business controls
- Analyze and monitor and report on the effectiveness of internal controls on a routine basis
About You
- University degree (Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration)
- CPA Designation (CA preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience
- Experience evaluating business risks and controls
- Strong understanding of information system risks and IT general controls
- Possess strong problem solving and analytical skills
Salary Range
$80,000-$90,000/year
