Senior Analyst, Gas Accounting & Analytics

About the Company

About the Opportunity  

• Perform monthly Distribution Margin analysis for presentation to management, including in-depth variance analysis on volumes and distribution revenues; identify and understand the business drivers in the analysis to interpret financial results and support management’s forecast

Transportation Revenues

• Validate customer billings (over 2 million customer accounts) and volumes on a monthly basis for accuracy and completeness, and manage reconciliations between customer billing system, general ledger, and data warehouse 
• Ensure that manual journal entries and related analyses are prepared accurately and timely for financial close
  Prepare monthly financial analysis package for internal management review and quarterly audit packages
• Ensure that proper SOX documentation is maintained and work closely with both internal and external auditors to ensure that audit requirements are met and SOX compliance is achieved
• Present monthly financial results and analyses to Assistant Controller and Controller during internal review meetings and fulfill requests from the auditors to assist with quarterly and annual external audit process

About You

• CPA, CA, CMA, or CGA designation
• 3-5 years of financial analysis experience
• Strong technical experience with revenue recognition

Salary Range
$75,000 - $85,000/year
