Our client is a fast-growing national real estate development and construction organization. They are looking to hire a Senior Corporate Accountant within their properties and REIT group.

This role is a great role for those looking to develop their leadership and technical reporting skills. Our client wants to groom this role into a future leader within their team. This role is a corporate reporting role as well will cover external reporting requirements.

About the Opportunity  

• Support in the reporting related to investor relations requirements the REIT operations
• Provide support within all ad-hoc project requests
• Conduct external research on the competitor REIT’s
• Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly investor letters, transparency reports, pitch books, RFI’s and earning press releases
• Conduct treasury cash-flow forecasting processes to ensure liquidity and business funding is current
• Ensure general ledger reflects accurate period end balances. Produce reconciliations as required
• Prepare financial statements for each set of properties under management
• Participate and lead within the operational budgeting and capital budgeting process
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis of costs and prepare presentations to SLT of your analysis
• For properties under management, producing billing for common area maintenance costs and tax assessments
• Preparation of annual property business plans, including operating, capital and leasing budgets
• Manage reporting and reporting package for all financing and investment requirements
• Collaborate with external stakeholders and provide high level of customer service when providing support
• Support external auditors for the internal audit and corporate tax engagement requirements

About You

• CPA
• Able to effectively communicate with Senior Leadership Team
• 3 years of full cycle accounting experience within a large organization
• Advanced Excel
• YARDI ERP experienced

Salary Range
$70,000-$75,000/year
