SAP Lead Business Analyst
The Senior Business Analyst is responsible to bring technical expertise and insight to implement and configure technology solutions to a system portfolio with a strong emphasis on SAP. This job requires an experienced analyst who can partner effectively with all levels of the organization, oversee work from others, drive results, and is able to make challenging decisions across complex, varied tasks where analytical skills are highly solicited.
About the Opportunity
- Ensure all business systems issues are resolved within defined service level agreements
- Provide Tier 2-3 level support to internal customers by troubleshooting system issues and determining root causes
- Partner with the helpdesk, the infrastructure group and external suppliers to ensure high availability of systems to internal customers
- Champion business analyst tasks on projects related to business systems improvements
- Ensure systems enhancements meet both stakeholders and audit requirements
- Transfer knowledge to colleagues and provide feedback to helpdesk analysts when issues were escalated to provide coaching and development
- Perform break fix and system development work, including configuration of SAP and troubleshooting systems
- Work closely with the business process owners to ensure alignment with business unit goals
- Lead by example by writing projects/change requests documentation for all stages (plan, analyze, design, build, test and deploy)
- Develop and communicate training and documentation for end users, hold training as necessary, and other user-related activities
- Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of best practices related to business process systems
- Ensure compliance to systems security and audit requirements, for both day-to-day operations and development activities
- Engage and influence business sponsors by bringing added value to their business objectives
- Recommend improvements to IT leadership
About You
- University degree in related disciplines is required
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a Senior Business Analyst in the field of computer science or business
- Minimum of five (5) years strong configuration experience on SAP FICO modules
- Understanding of MM, PP, SD, LE and TM is a big plus
- Strong BI (BOBJ) understanding
- Consulting experience from a Big Four firm is an asset
- Strong incident management skills and the ability to manage issue resolutions with disciplined urgency
- Excellent systems troubleshooting skills
- Working knowledge of IT infrastructure in a hosted environment
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and methods in guiding/influencing others towards achieving goals
- Ability to present ideas and concepts in a business and user-friendly language to non-technical audience
Pay Range
$110,000 – 120,000/year
