RIS PACS Support Analyst

About the Opportunity

• Provide remote and in-person IT support for internal and external users
• Provide 1st and 2nd level technical support for RIS PACS applications over the phone and in-person
• Assist in performing installation and maintenance of both internal and field systems
• Participate in system upgrades, planning, testing, troubleshooting, validation and implementations
• Provision and manage internal infrastructure, systems, and resources for training and testing efforts
• Consultation for technical services including integration, implementation, virtualization, and solutions design
• Being an integral part of the installation team facilitating and performing remote installations of enterprise solutions
• Oversee the daily operation, support, management, and improvement of the RIS/ PACS and Voice Recognition systems
• Take part in the rotation of on call support to multiple facilities
• Contribute to multiple concurrent projects in addition to support activities

About You

• Intermediate IT, Networking, and database knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware such as: workstations, servers & storage devices
• Strong knowledge of workstation & server OS platforms
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure and communication protocols
• Experience in implementing Enterprise Imaging solutions
• Knowledge/understanding of RIS ( Radiology Information system)
• 3 or more years of customer service experience
• 2 or more years of technical support experience
• Ability to manage & prioritize multiple work assignments with minimal supervision
• Degree from a Technical College/University or equivalent experience in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or Medical Informatics

Pay Range
$60,000-$70,000/year
