Property Accountant – 12+ Month Contract

About the Opportunity

• Post transactions to journals, post to ledgers, calculate trial balances, post accruals
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statement packages and annual budget; ensure adherence to statutory accounting principles
• Bank reconciliations, assist A/R collections and Property Management departments
• Support year-end audit, ad-hoc duties as per manager

About You

• College diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration
• 3+ years of property accounting experience
• Advanced Excel, JDE and/or Yardi experience is a strong asset
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

Pay Range
$60,000 Salary
