ARE YOU A PROPERTY ACCOUNTANT SEEKING AN OPPORTUNITY TO WORK FOR A WELL-ESTABLISHED FIRM? Our client is looking for an experienced individual for a full-time basis.

Property Accountant

About the Opportunity

• Will be exposed to full cycle accounting for commercial, retail, residential and industrial properties
• Prepare RE tax, OPEX, and CAM for tenants
• Address any tenant issues or questions raised by the Property Manager
• GL accounting, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Create financial data, budgets and forecasts
• Assist with audit procedures
• Review and analyze leases

About You  

• Minimum of 2 years of commercial and/or retail property accounting experience
• Proficiency with JD Edwards is preferred
• CPA or working towards an accounting designation is an asset 
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple conflicting deadlines   
• Ability to work well in a dynamic and complex team environment 
• Exceptional communication skills
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Salary Range
$65,000-$70,000/year
