Project Manager (O365, Digital Workplace)

The digital workplace Project manager is an experienced professional who leads the effort to create a work environment that exploits digital collaboration and cloud application trends. The goal is to improve employee agility and engagement so that the firm can profit from changing business models and improved workforce effectiveness to achieve its business goals.

The primary function is creating a work environment that ensures that the applications and services that employees use on a regular basis make them more effective individually, as well as making teams, workgroups and other communities more effective. This will be accomplished by employing consumer technologies, applying user-experience principles and testing emerging technologies.

About the Opportunity

  • Champion and project managing digital workplace initiatives that support the firm's transformation to a digital business that will enable it to participate in the digital economy
  • Manage all stages of the IT projects assigned, including planning, implementing and monitoring activities. Work with IT line managers and team members to develop project plans and activities with appropriate tasks, resources, milestones, cost analysis and timelines
  • Provide all levels of project communications and work with project sponsors to resolve issues, address changes and identify risks
  • Create an execution strategy, through the projects, that promotes employee engagement through the use of consumer-oriented technology services, and enables employees to have a greater voice in technology directions and workplace interactions
  • Work closely with business management to rethink, simplify and redesign processes to processes to ensure employee engagement and effectiveness. Explore and improve
  • how employees engage with partners and suppliers
  • Lead the development, publication and maintenance of the corporate digital workplace governance standards and procedures, as well as a road map for its future development that matches and supports business strategies

About You

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, computer science, information management, or related field. PMP is a must
  • 5 or more years of work experience, ideally in business management or IT project management and preferably a combination of the two
  • Five or more years of progressive leadership experience in leading cross-functional teams and enterprise wide programs, operating and influencing effectively across the organization and within complex contexts
  • Implementing O365 and SharePoint initiatives
  • Above average understanding of Microsoft’s Digital workplace tools
  • Experience in developing training strategies for digital initiatives
  • Experience in designing strategic metrics and scorecards
  • Strategy and management consulting experience desirable
