Project Cost Accountant

Our client is looking for a Project Cost Accountant for a 3 month contract.

About the Opportunity  

• Month-end closing and reporting
• Journal entries
• Cash flow monitoring
• Budget revisions and project estimates at completion
• Project setups, modifications, and budget updates in the accounting system
• Support year-end close and provide relevant analysis for internal and external auditors
• Work in process reports for client and leadership team
• Analyze and report on client revenue, profitability and utilization
• Supports revenue, client budgeting and forecasting activities
• Special projects as required

About You

• Accounting designation
• Industry experience is essential - construction, architecture or any infrastructure project
• Advanced Excel
• Solid knowledge in project cost accounting - at least 3 to 4 years
• Ability to work in a manual environment 
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet strict deadlines

Pay Range  
$32/hour
