About the Company

Our client is a global manufacturing company that has experienced tremendous growth over the last three years via acquisition. This role will be the right-hand finance leader to their Plant Manager and will be a key member of the leadership team. About the Opportunity  

• Formulate financial policies in conjunction with the goals and objectives of the Company
• Manage projects related to budgeting, audit, government, capital requests, and plant initiatives
• Plan, study, and collect data to determine costs of business activity, such as raw material purchases, inventory and labour
• Analyze data obtained and records results
• Analyze changes on product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided, to determine effects on costs
• Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare periodic report comparing standard to actual production costs
• Provide management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting process and profitability of products or services. Manage month-end activities, variance analysis, and monthly reconciliations
• Act as a local expert regarding the cost accounting system, developing and implementing internal controls over financial reporting
• Analyze and reconcile monthly inventories both at plant and at outside storage facilities
• Produce and manage the annual financial budget for the plant. Provide monthly forecasts and financial models to sustain growth and expansion
• Provide guidance and supervision to members of the Accounting Department
• Ensure plant is compliant with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements

About You

• CPA, CA, CMA, or CGA designation
• 3-5 years of costing experience
• Must have manufacturing experience

Salary Range
$100,000-$105,000/year
