Payroll Administrator - 6 Months Temp to Perm

About the Opportunity

• Preparation of the full payroll cycle
• Enter journal entries to system as required, perform GL payroll reconciliations
• Administer hourly pay timesheets for bi-weekly payroll
• Enter data for new hires, departures, conversions, and internal changes 
• Preparing for the bi-weekly payroll run by reviewing salaried and hourly employees, and ensure a timely and accurate payroll and time reconciliations (i.e. reviewing time sheets)
• Preparation of all governmental filings related to WSIB, EHT, CPAS (Quebec)

About You

• Experience with time and attendance software
• Superior time reconciliation capabilities
• 5 years of experience with multi-provincial payroll administration, including full cycle payroll processing
• Basic accounting knowledge including reconciliations experience
• Experience with ADP Pay @ Work, EZ Labor, intermediate Excel skills, Navision is a strong asset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Flexible to work long hours to manage month end deadlines when required

Pay Range
$20-$25/hour
