PHP DEVELOPER NEEDED FOR FULL-TIME ROLE WITH A FANTASTIC COMPANY. We are hiring a PHP Developer for a full-time position in Richmond Hill/Markham. 

Senior PHP Developer (Full Stack)

About the Opportunity

• Create and maintain PHP driven modules while maintaining security and performance standards
• Analyze the performance of PHP frameworks, identifying and resolving bottlenecks
• Write relational database schema and queries
• Analyze and optimize SQL requests in PostgreSQL
• Client-side development using JavaScript (jQuery/JSON) and CSS
• Back-end development using OOP PHP and frameworks in an agile environment
• Unit testing PHP and JavaScript modules

About You

• Strong experience with object oriented programming using PHP5
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc
• Extensive experience with client side development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript and familiarity with cross-browser and responsive web design RWD
• Working knowledge of a LAMP/LAPP stack
• Knowledge of jQuery or other JS frameworks
• Familiarity with code management systems such as Git and CVS
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/mathematics/engineering preferred
• 5+ years’ experience developing web applications using PHP 5, PostgreSQL or MySQL, XML, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery, JSON, etc)
• Ability to work with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines
• Organized, articulate, detail-oriented and comfortable working within a team structure
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Pay Range
$80,000/year
