ARE YOU AN INTERMEDIATE PHP DEVELOPER LOOKING FOR AN EXCITING CHALLENGE? Our client is seeking an Intermediate PHP Developer to join their growing team on a contract to full-time basis.

PHP Developer

The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience as a PHP Developer and will pride themselves on writing clean code. Previous experience writing code from scratch for complex applications is a must.

About the Opportunity

• Create complex web-based applications in PHP5 and MySQL following established standards and methodologies of OO/ORM design on the LAMP stack
• Experience documenting code (using PHPDoc)
• Experience writing technical documentation when needed
• Improve and enhance features in existing system
• Implement bug fixes and work with QA team to identify areas of process improvement
• Work with other technical groups members on system and component integrations

About you

• Experience with Object Oriented PHP (PHP5) design and development
• Experience with creation of Web Service APIs, Symfony and PHPDoctrine
• Experience with Bootstrap open source development and other top-tier PHP Frameworks and ORM tools
• 4-6 years with OOP Design; 2+ yrs with MySQL/RDBM
• 2+ years Data Modeling
• 4+ years PHP
• 3-6 years Linux
• Experience with UML and SOAP are a bonus
• Experience with web technologies including: JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, responsive design, jQuery and AJAX
• Must be a team player and have an impeccable work ethic with high standards in product quality
• Must be able to provide estimates for new projects and adhere to timelines while following design specifications
• Must be reliable and able to work during regular business hours or as required to finish a project
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must
