Operations Specialist - 6 Month Contract

Line of Business: Retail Banking, Treasury & Payment Services Operations

Location: Downtown Toronto

Summary: This individual will be supporting, assisting, and auditing the Service Representative team. The hiring manager ultimately is aiming to create a subject-matter expert who can handle escalations from the team. The team is responsible for fulfilling court ordered demands and facilitating garnishment requests from government agencies and courts in Ontario and western provinces.

About the Opportunity

• Provide assistance and support to the Service Representative team
• Help with handling escalations which will comprise investigative work
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for the team
• Coordinate with the manager and service coordinators to organize priorities
• Understand and interpret court documents and work with legal team on an as needed basis

About You

• 1 or more year of previous experience in operations or investigations in banking
• College/university education
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables/V Lookups/formulas)
• Previous experience in a legal setting, interpreting legal documents is an asset

Pay Range
$20/hour
