About the Company

Our client, an investment management firm located in downtown Toronto, is looking for a motivated candidate to join their team. The firm has a start-up culture, and is looking for someone that is a self-starter, detail oriented and capable of wearing many different hats. This is a great opportunity to get a varied experience in operations, compliance and finance/accounting. The successful candidate will gain exposure in various facets of the investment firm and gain valuable knowledge and experience.

About the Opportunity

• Provide portfolio and fund accounting support, including resolving trade settlement issues, reconciling position breaks and cash positions, NAV reconciliations, tracking proxy voting and processing corporate actions
• Assist with various operational and compliance matters
• Assist with the preparation of the semi-annual and year-end fund financial statements
• Ad hoc projects as assigned

About You

• Accounting designation is an asset
• Completion of the Canadian Securities Course is an asset
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure 
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Salary Range
$55,000 - $65,000/year
