About the Opportunity

• Act as a technical liaison to translate audit objectives/findings into actionable initiatives
• Co-ordinate investigation of events determined to be questionable and provide security incident response support
• Oversee the vulnerability assessment activities, co-ordinate remediation of findings
• Work with external vendors to conduct annual external penetration tests
• Conduct network, server and external vulnerability testing
• Develop automation scripts
• Participate in evaluating products and services to enhance infrastructure and application security
• Work with staff on security briefing and training
• Plan and lead security incident response initiatives
• Monitor and manage patches for all devices, networks, servers and applications

About You

• Degree/diploma in an IT-related discipline or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT security
• 3+ years of experience in network security, including firewalls, IPS, NAC, DLP and malware protection
• Solid understanding of application security and related frameworks
• Experience in administering security in both Linux and Windows production environments
• Working experience with Web application servers, virtualization and networking in high availability environments
• Experience with intrusion prevention, virus detection, firewalls, VPN, encryption, authentication/authorization, data loss prevention, certificate services, protocol and traffic analysis
• Solid understanding of the current IT threat landscape
• Proven understanding of IT security processes, procedures and tools
• Security certifications are a definite asset

Pay Range
$75,000-$85,000/year
