Manager of Internal Audit

The Manager is accountable for planning, directing and completing projects of all types, including key risk audits, consulting engagements, project risk reviews and other special projects.

About the Opportunity  

  • Plan and execute audit projects in accordance with department standards
  • Manage projects within time budgets and target dates, reporting any timing problems or budget over-runs 
  • Lead audit staff assisting on projects and review completed files to ensure quality of work completed
  • Assess risk management practices and provide control consulting services to business unit management
  • Prepare audit reports, including executive summary and rating of adequacy of risk management, making practical and value-added recommendations to improve risk management practices and the efficiency and effectiveness of operations
  • Present findings and recommendations to business unit management; resolve contentious issues and reach agreement on appropriate solutions to risk management and operational efficiency issues

About You

  • University degree plus a recognized accounting CA or CPA designation 
  • 5 years of internal/external audit or equivalent business experience mainly focused in the financial services industry 

Salary Range
$80,000-$105,000/year
