Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis

Our Client is a publicly listed Company in the consulting industry that is looking to hire a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis reporting to the Director of Finance.

About the Opportunity  

  • Lead the annual budgeting and planning process for the Company
  • Presentation of monthly analysis of results against prior year and budgets
  • Financial modeling for acquisitions and other strategic corporate initiatives
  • Strategic financial analysis to support Business Units and Corporate
  • Compile and analyze financial results against the plan and prior year on a monthly basis
  • Responsible for reporting critical metrics as well as assist in developing new metrics
  • Develop in-depth financial analysis for trends in revenue, cost and profitability across markets
  • Work with Finance Director to ensure accuracy and integrity of company and Business Unit financials
  • Assist in preparation of valuation models for purchase price allocation and goodwill impairment assessments
  • Assist with corporate financial model and maintain to reflect latest developments

About You

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Accounting
  • Public accountancy experience
  • Accounting designation: CPA, CA, CBV in progress or completed
  • Minimum of 2 years post CPA, CA qualification
  • Strong experience in analysis of financial results to identify variations and trends that indicate possible exposures and the need for countermeasures
  • Advanced Excel experience; ability to create Macros and complex spreadsheet models  

Salary Range
$90,000-$105,000/year
