About the Company

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a large and growing, global and publicly listed manufacturing company. This is a highly analytical role; in addition to having strong modelling experience, you will be required to act as a problem solver and make recommendations to Senior Management as a Key Finance Expert. They are looking for someone who wants to tap into their analytical strengths and establish business partnerships with key members of operations to meet company objectives for growth. In this role you will have the opportunity to travel to enjoyable destinations, such as California, where their factories are located.

About the Opportunity  

• Lead the development and completion of annual plans, capital planning, quarterly financial forecasts and incentive calculations; develop efficient processes to consolidate budget/forecast submissions and assist in the preparation of presentations to senior management
• Provide financial support to the business units; business partners include direct interaction with Executive Management
• Analyze total company performance to budget and prior year-end, prepare monthly and quarterly commentary for local and corporate management
• Assist with the development of ad hoc financial analyses of customer, product or service-related issues and opportunities
• Build strong internal and external relationships that require exchanging of information and providing explanations in a problem solving capacity
• Implement process improvements
• Review contracts and persuade internal customers
• Make decisions based on analysis
• Handle difficult situations in a tactful and diplomatic manner and effectively resolve conflict

About You

• Completion of a university degree, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or Commerce, and must have a professional accounting designation
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with a mix of Financial Planning and Analysis 
• Strong communication skills – you will be required to deliver presentations to senior-level management across the company and to cross-functional groups and operations
• Proven organizational and time management skills 
• Work well in a team environment
• Prior experience and ability to effectively present information via written and verbal presentations

Salary Range
$90,000-$100,000/year
