HAVE YOU BEEN LOOKING FOR A GREAT MANAGER ROLE THAT WILL ALLOW YOU TO LEARN AND GAIN A BREADTH OF EXPERIENCE? Our client is looking for a team player to join their company as a Manager of Reporting, Technical Accounting, and Taxation.

Manager / SFA

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you are responsible for month-end and year-end reporting, and the preparation of financial statements and related information in accordance with IFRS and US-GAAP and other regulatory authorities. You will also oversee the preparation of other reports for audits or internal requirements, and and variance analysis with recommended action plans. You will also be responsible for monitoring compliance with internal controls over financial reporting, including processes, procedures and company policies.

About the Opportunity  

  • Motivate, coordinate and lead a team (and co-op when applicable), set goals and establish direction
  • General responsibility for the company's financial activities
  • Ongoing monthly/quarterly/annual reporting including notes
  • Communication/collaboration with the partners, and auditors
  • Controlling of Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
  • Management support
  • Contribute to overall process improvement initiatives designed to enhance financial processes and reporting
  • Harmonize systems and reporting between accounting and corporate finance in addition to implementing systems and processes from headquarters
  • Review Partnership tax return, corporate income tax return, and GST/HST tax return
  • Prepare Accounting Memo for specific and complicated transactions

About You

  • A professional accounting designation (CA/CGA/CMA or CPA)
  • Experience with an ERP systems is a definite asset
  • Knowledge and experiences in US GAAP and IFRS
  • A minimum 2 years of experience in manager role
  • Public or private company audit experience
  • Experience in dealing taxes issue
  • Good interpersonal skills, time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities
  • Bilingual (Korean and English)
  • High proficiency in MS Office

Salary Range
$65,000-$90,000/year
