MS FULL STACK SOLUTION ARCHITECT NEEDED FOR EXCITING CAREER OPPORTUNITY. Our client, a leading organization, is looking for an experienced professional to join their team.

MS Full Stack Solution Architect
We are seeking a highly motivated solution architect to join our software planning and development team with a primary responsibility to research and design software architectures supporting the replacement or the enhancement of the various in-house production applications. The well rounded individual will be able to lead design activity and act in BSA / PM capacity, will have excellent business facing skills, and be able to articulate technical issues to help progress new initiatives.  This individual can translate shared business requirements into technical architectures, designs, data models, and shape required technical documents with complex designs.  The candidate must be versed in agile software development methodologies and possess excellent technical problem solving skills.

About the Opportunity

  • Self-motivated technologist who can both write code and interact with business users to define enterprise requirements
  • Participate in defining the technology direction, creating the roadmap for the Enterprise Data and Systems Architecture, and lead on strategic technology choices
  • Identify critical success factors and make recommendations
  • Have good understanding of relevant technologies (.NET applications using languages C#, HTML5, CSS, LESS, JavaScript, and frameworks ASP.NET, Web API, WCF, MVC, jQuery, AngularJS, Bootstrap)
  • Responsible for providing solutions to complex problems with workable solution architectures, application frameworks, templates, and technical documents
  • Remove, resolve, or escalate roadblocks for team members in a timely manner
  • Facilitate meetings to progress team and ensure focus on continuous improvement
  • Identify opportunities for usability improvements, simplification and standardization across application stack(s)
  • Manage quality aspects of outsourced development initiatives
  • Work with 3rd party vendors to ensure adherence to “enterprise bus” architecture and ensure smooth migration from in-house application to 3rd party application
  • Participate and when required lead R&D exercise to determine the best possible application fit to business requirements
  • Assist in build vs. buy decision for business unit applications, provide R&D around upcoming technology
  • Liaison with project teams to ensure guidelines and process across all technology initiatives are aligned properly

About you

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field is an absolute must.
  • 12+ years of programmer experience with 5 or more years of proven experience at the Software Architect level
  • Must be proficient in technologies like HTML5, XML, ASP.NET, JavaScript, IIS, and .NET framework
  • Experience using C#, or other object oriented language
  • Experience using Oracle or SQL Server relational database management systems, stored procedures, and queries
  • Must be proficient in N-tiered development with design/development experiences implementing client-server or web environments using technologies, WCF, Web Services, Micro-Services
  • Must be comfortable with designing, development and support of large scale distributed applications within a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
  • Experience using Visual Studio
  • Experience with continuous integration and related tools like VS Team Services, TFVC
  • Knowledge of application level security/general awareness of cyber security requirements for applications
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills providing technical consulting to business owners as they evaluate new and revised vendor solution offerings
  • Be self-motivated and self-managing team leader
  • Preference goes to someone with experience in Wealth Management work (Investments, Banking, Fund Accounting) – but not required
