Director/Architect - Mobile Device Management

Our client, a leader in the private health care space, is seeking a Mobile Evangelist to join their team. You must be acknowledged as an expert within the area of enterprise mobile technologies on a national level. We are looking for an evangelist to inspire and instill confidence in our client’s community of users, staff, leaders, vendors and stakeholders that the mobile strategy is sound and trending in a positive direction.

The right candidate will have a passion and/or expertise for mobile devices, strategy and best practices of all types. The ideal evangelist will possess excellent communication skills that will allow them to engaged thousands of people at once or drive in-depth discussions with senior technical/non-technical leaders. They should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges so that they can provide input and suggestions for improvement based on education, experience and expertise.

About the Opportunity

• Provide leadership in the development and strategic direction of the company’s mobile device strategy nationally
• Act as the resident expert in all areas of Enterprise Mobile Device Services.
• Serve as a thought leader externally and internally, providing guidance on best practices, industry trends, and future potential
• You will be required to quickly ramp up on the organization’s current technologies and provide suggestions for technical and process improvements
• You will help guide the organization in identifying areas of platform improvement, equipment management, inventory management, documentation, process improvement, etc.
• You will work with the other organizational leaders on project and corporate initiatives to ensure that the mobile device strategies are in line with their project plans
• You will be required to review all current documentation and suggest areas of improvement; you will then be required to implement those suggestions
• Build connections with the current vendors, suppliers, etc.
• Educate the organization on industry trends
• Maintain an open dialogue with fellow leaders, team members, stakeholders, etc.

About You

• 8+ years’ experience as a resident mobile device expert for environments of 1000+ devices (current environment is 6000+)
• A relevant university degree is preferred
• A broad knowledge base of current mobility device management technologies, devices and MDM best practices is required
• The ability to quickly understand the current environment while offering a seamless transition into the organization
• Strong documentation skills
• Advanced written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills are required
• A ‘Can Do’ attitude
