About the Opportunity

• Assist in the design and development of applications that support monitoring, error detection, scripting and fulfillment
• Anticipate the impact of changes on the system in order to maintain the quality of system and participate in the support and troubleshooting of the environment by monitoring and analyzing system performance using the database and server log information
• Document processes and recommend process improvements
• Respond to suggestions and problems as reported by users and by system error reporting and monitoring. Gain full understanding of each issue, then document, investigate and resolve the issue while involving appropriate parties and providing status updates
• Execute customer fulfillment jobs based on requirements defined in Echo Letters and Statements of Work
• Assist with delivery audits and in audits involving operations, compliance adherence and performance
• Provide on-call support for Batch and FTP production systems
• Keep technical management and account team informed about progress, problems and activities
• Keep peers informed about changes, improvements, etc. that might impact them
• Document and communicate system or framework enhancements
• Provide support to customers via telephone, written correspondence and face-to-face meetings. This includes setting up test cases, answering questions and consulting on application support, data issues, access issues, training questions, etc.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, relevant work experience
• 2-7 years in a Linux environment with strong Bash, shell, Perl, AWK scripting skills
• Strong SQL /RDBMS understanding
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix command line manipulation of text files, csv files, etc. (e.g. GREP command)
• Exposure to FTP and/or automated batch processes is a plus

Pay Range
$65,000-$75,000/year
