HAVE YOU BEEN LOOKING FOR A GREAT IT TECHNICAL SUPPORT ROLE THAT WILL ALLOW YOU TO LEARN AND GAIN A BREADTH OF EXPERIENCE? If the answer is YES and you have relevant experience in similar role working in a dental/medical office, then this role may be for you! Our client is looking for an IT Technical Support Analyst for a 6 month opportunity with potential for extension and/or permanent hire. This will be a part-time role, with a schedule of 9 AM to 6 PM, 3 days a week, onsite.

IT Technical Support – 6 Month Contract (potential for extension/permanent hire)

About the Opportunity

  • Lead by example on work ethic, ownership, patient experience, patient care and performance
  • Deliver and coach multiple teams to provide outstanding patient service
  • Communicate regularly with executive management and all users of information services and systems
  • Collaborate with VP of Operations to ensure alignment of practice targets
  • Establish and maintain effective communication throughout the practices
  • Is available to all Practice Managers and Teams for support and guidance
  • Maintain composure under pressure during times of change
  • Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including servers, PCs, operating systems, telephones, software applications, and peripherals
  • Provide expertise and support during systems upgrades, installations, conversions and file maintenance
  • Oversee systems development and enhancement and the integration of new systems with existing systems
  • Develop standard operating procedures and best practices, including providing written protocols and guidance to IT staff and to end-users
  • Oversee provision of end-user services, including help desk and technical support services
  • Keep current with the latest technologies and determine what new technology solutions and implementations will meet business and system requirements
  • Manage financial aspects of the IT Division, including purchasing, budgeting, and budget review
  • Manage servers, security solutions, network hardware and equipment
  • Manage telecommunications infrastructure and development plans, projects, policies and procedures
  • Negotiate and administer vendor, outsourcer, and consultant contracts and service agreements
  • Ensure reliable network connectivity between servers, printers, and user workstations 
  • Configure, test, and install printers and personal computers
  • Provide technology support and help desk services to end users
  • Ordering toner supplies and other computer related supplies are required
  • Configuring, testing, and administering multi-function photocopiers

About you

  • Previous work experience in a dental office using Dentrix, ClearDent, ABELDent, or similar dental software will be strongly considered
