JR Technical Support Help Desk Analyst – 12 Month Contract
About the Opportunity
- Support multiple locations throughout the GTA both remotely and on-site
- On-site, phone, remote and email support
- Desktop and Laptop support including hardware and software installations and troubleshooting
- Assist with the planning and implementation of installs, moves, adds and changes of laptop, desktop and communication devices as needed
- General VPN, wireless, cabling, peripherals, hardware and software knowledge is required
- Analyze/solve problems in communications systems, if necessary contacting the appropriate escalation point as necessary
About you
- A vehicle is mandatory as local GTA travel is a requirement
- This is a customer centric position and our customers demand complete fluency in English
- Degree or College Diploma in a related field of Information Technology, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience and/or an ability to interact with users for all levels of technical inquiries
- 1-2 years of hands on experience supporting systems and desktop applications including Wireless, LAN/WAN, & Internet Technology - Knowledge with Microsoft Windows 2003/2008/2012
- Certifications would be considered an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a Can Do/Customer First attitude
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and take direction within a team environment
