JR Technical Support Help Desk Analyst – 12 Month Contract

About the Opportunity

• Support multiple locations throughout the GTA both remotely and on-site
• On-site, phone, remote and email support
• Desktop and Laptop support including hardware and software installations and troubleshooting
• Assist with the planning and implementation of installs, moves, adds and changes of laptop, desktop and communication devices as needed
• General VPN, wireless, cabling, peripherals, hardware and software knowledge is required
• Analyze/solve problems in communications systems, if necessary contacting the appropriate escalation point as necessary

About you

• A vehicle is mandatory as local GTA travel is a requirement
• This is a customer centric position and our customers demand complete fluency in English
• Degree or College Diploma in a related field of Information Technology, or equivalent experience
• Proven experience and/or an ability to interact with users for all levels of technical inquiries
• 1-2 years of hands on experience supporting systems and desktop applications including Wireless, LAN/WAN, & Internet Technology - Knowledge with Microsoft Windows 2003/2008/2012
• Certifications would be considered an asset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a Can Do/Customer First attitude
• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and take direction within a team environment
