Investment Writer – 6 - 9 Month Contract

About the Opportunity

• Create commentaries using attribution reports, input from portfolio/product teams, independent research and other data analytics
• Interpret statistical information and translate data to support written statements
• The core focus includes writing: (1) scheduled, recurring commentary deliverables, and (2) more complex or high-profile commentary assignments (e.g. topic/discussion pieces, newsletters and special projects)
• Ensure copy complies with corporate standards, effectively communicates desired message, and meets project deadlines and specifications

About You

• 3-5 years of job-related work experience
• Extensive successful writing experience, preferably in the financial services industry  
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Bachelor’s degree - with a major in English, communications, economics or similar discipline, preferred; MBA, CFA, CSC, preferred
• Solid understanding of investment products and industry; good working knowledge of the firm’s products and the overall industry
• Demonstrated success in adhering to schedules, multitasking, project management, attention to detail, organization of materials and cooperating with team members

Pay Range
$20-$24/hour
