LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED INTERNAL AUDIT MANAGER. Our financial institution client is looking for an Internal Audit Manager for a long-term contract.

About the Opportunity  

  • Lead Operational and SOX audits
  • For Operational Audits - will be responsible for reviewing, planning, execution, reporting (engagement is typically 90 days)
  • For SOX Audits - will be responsible for reviewing, planning, testing, no reporting (engagement is typically 4 weeks)
  • Lead the risk assessment process and provide expertise on regulatory issues to identify key risks, oversee the completion of the overall audit process, including development and application of appropriate audit programs, on-going client communications, reporting, and post-audit procedures
  • Review and recommend controls and safeguards that contribute to the development of policies and/or procedures for the clients. 

About You

  • 5+ years of experience at a Manager level within Audits
  • 10 years of experience with Operational/SOX audits
  • Insurance industry knowledge
  • Excellent analytical skills and strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Confident presentation and facilitation skills and strong interpersonal and leadership skills to facilitate working with auditees and senior management at all levels
  • Internal/external audit experience or other audit experience
  • Ability to travel 6-8 weeks during the year
     

Pay Range
$50/hour
