ARE YOU AN INTERMEDIATE ACCOUNTANT SEEKING AN OPPORTUNITY TO WORK FOR A GLOBAL FIRM? Our client is looking for an Intermediate Accountant for a full-time role.

About the Opportunity

• Preparation of monthly adjusting entries 
• Reconciliation of Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts
• Assist with preparation of required audit working papers for quarterly reviews and yearly audit
• Perform variance analysis, including identifying and investigating variances for use by management in decision making
• Work with other departments to deliver accurate information
• Annual regulatory filing
• Ad hoc reporting as required

About You  

• 2-3 years accounting experience with exposure to month-end
• Currently pursuing an accounting designation
• Experience in analyzing and reporting financial information
• Strong team orientation with ability to collaborate with internal clients and peers
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and adapt to unique and changing expectations
• Detail oriented, work with a high degree of accuracy and ability to meet strict deadlines
• Highly organized, flexible, demonstrated ability to show initiative and willingness to learn
• Proficient in a variety of computer applications and must have intermediate Excel skills
• Previous experience with accounting systems such as Great Plains would be an asset

Salary Range
$50,000 - $55,000/year
