Insurance Clerk – 18 Month Contract

About the Opportunity

• Review client and advisor requests
• Ensure adequate information is provided
• Manage any necessary system changes/updates
• Ensure work is completed
• Updating information on customer files using internal databases
• Respond in writing to policy owners and advisors inquiries or to notify them of investigation results and any planned adjustments
• Data-entry
• Refer more complex customer enquiries to designated CSRs for further investigation
• Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken
• Back up for the reception area
• Interacting with the internal teams
• Ad hoc duties as required

About You

• 1-2 recent years of Customer service experience in a high volume corporate environment
• Insurance and/or banking experience is ideal
• High attention to detail (data entry accuracy) – this is a deadline driven environment
• Experience in a role that is very process oriented
• Recent experience working in the Life insurance industry
• College/University degree

Pay Range
$14-$16/hour
