ARE YOU A GENERAL ACCOUNTANT LOOKING TO TAKE YOUR CAREER TO THE NEXT LEVEL? Our client is looking for a General Accountant to join their team for a contract assignment.

General Accountant - 6 months+

About the Opportunity

• General accounting
• Assist Supervisor with daily accounting activities
• Prepare corporate accruals and true-up these accruals to reflect actual results as required
• Prepare account reconciliations and clear reconciling items
• Provide reconciliation, confirmation log and analysis of intercompany accounts
• Assist in income statement preparation
• Assist in balance sheet account analysis
• Respond to internal and external inquiries
• Preparation of cash position inputs
• Prepare and review journal entries
• Prepare external audit schedules
• Execute some JDE month-end process required from NABS
• Support the preparation of year-end financial statements
• Work on special projects as assigned

About You

• 3+ years of accounting experience
• College diploma/university degree in accounting or business administration
• Experience with SAP or JD Edwards is an asset; large ERP experience is a must
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication skills and professional

Pay Range
$17-$18/hour
