Financial Analyst - 6 Month Contract

About the Opportunity

  • Review job costs for SF, Web, DM and ISM before billing
  • Verify accuracy of time sheets and make any correction
  • Ensure of all reasonable costs charged to job which include prepress, press, finishing, lettershop, fulfillment and freight as well as material costs of paper, plates, ink, other materials and outside work
  • Ensure of any Alteration charges and shipping costs billed to the customer
  • Verify the major variances between job costing and the estimated costs
  • Verify the revenue allocation to the correct division
  • Check the packing slips, PODs, ESOMS are in the docket
  • Prepare summary of provincial breakdown of shipped for charging of sales tax
  • Check all FSC approval requirements are in the docket
  • Verify discrepancies between estimated and actual costs
  • Verify PO is in the docket and the sales amount matched with the quote
  • Update and control the master docket tracking file, keep track of any major job cost variances in this file
  • Prepare month-end sales accrual with detailed costs analysis
  • Prepare JE for WIP adjustments for sales accrual and any other WIP adjustments
  • Review the Value Added (VA) and Manufacturing Contribution (MC) report and provide description for jobs with major losses

About You

  • 3-5 years related experience along with a university degree
  • Strong skills in PC-based software applications including Word, Excel, E-mail, and Internet
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, handling multiple priorities simultaneously

Pay Range
$24-$26/hour
